Who We Are

Mission & History

Our Mission

The mission of CASA of Campbell County is to advocate for abused and neglected children by providing them with a voice through highly trained volunteer advocates. These advocates ensure that each child receives the necessary medical, psychological and educational services they need and deserve to thrive.

Our advocates are our heroes!  Once trained by our staff, advocates are appointed by Campbell County Juvenile Court Judge Bill Jones. They are empowered to obtain detailed information related to a child’s case, trained to prepare a written report with recommendations for the judge and to speak for the child’s best interests.  Our staff support advocates every step of the way! If you have a heart for children in need, a desire to make a difference, and about 10 hours a month, we'll equip you with the tools you need to make an impact in these vulnerable children's lives!

Our History

After operating for five years as part of a multi-county agency, CASA of Campbell County was established in January 2007 as a local, non-profit organization. We are members of the National CASA Association and the Tennessee CASA Association.
