Be for the child.
“Every child custody decision is important and can have a lifetime’s worth of impact on a child. CASA Volunteers are there to comfort the child, to calm their fears, while at the same time, shining a light for the court on the child’s best interests.”
Children in foster care who have a CASA volunteer are more likely to succeed in school and adjust to change. And they’re half as likely to re-enter the foster care system later. As a volunteer, you can make all the difference for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect in your community. Be for the child. Won't you please get involved today?
